Advisories NCA Schedule Update Adds Torts Exam to September Session

The NCA has updated its exam schedule to offer applicants an additional opportunity to write the Torts exam during 2021. The exam is now also scheduled for September 9.  If you wish to take advantage of this opportunity, please register for the exam through the NCA Portal by the July 23 deadline.  The regular exam fee applies.

To study for the exam, should you choose to write it, please consult the most recent Torts syllabus.  We will be updating the current syllabus for the exam and will post an advisory once the new version is available.

The NCA prepared a document outlining how to prepare for the Torts exam.  We encourage you to consult it before writing the exam.

The dates for all other exams during 2021 remain the same.

NCA Change Fee

Please be advised that effective March 1, 2024 the fee for an assessment by the NCA (Assessment Fee) will be $400 CDN plus applicable taxes. The NCA operates on a cost recovery basis. It therefore adjusts its fees from time to time as required.
