Advisories New NCA Policies in effect September 1
Please be advised that revised policies for the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) will go into effect at 00:01 (Eastern) September 1, 2019. The revised NCA Policy Manual reflecting these new policies is available here. Significant amendments have been made to the policies for Canadian Civil Law Graduates and for Applicants from Non-Common Law Jurisdictions. The amendments address issues that have been identified since the implementation of the policies in 2015. The amendments also aim to improve readability and accessibility through the use of plain language. Files ready to be assessed by August 31, 2019 will be processed under the current NCA policies. Files ready to be assessed after that date will be processed under the new policies. Applicants are responsible for awareness of, and compliance with, all aspects of the NCA Policy Manual.
