Advisories Reminder: Deadline to Register for CPLED’s Legal Research and Writing Course

Further to the NCA Advisory dated June 14 about the launch of CPLED`s Legal Research and Writing (LRW) course, the NCA would like to remind NCA students that the deadline to register for the LRW course beginning Monday, August 24, 2020 is Friday, August 14.

As previously indicated, this course is an optional learning tool available to all NCA applicants who have been issued an Assessment Report. Successful completion of the course will exempt students who subsequently take CPLED’s Practice Readiness Education Program (PREP) from two PREP Foundation Modules.

If you are interested in registering for the course and haven’t already done so, please register through the CPLED website by the August 14 deadline.

NCA Change Fee

Please be advised that effective March 1, 2024 the fee for an assessment by the NCA (Assessment Fee) will be $400 CDN plus applicable taxes. The NCA operates on a cost recovery basis. It therefore adjusts its fees from time to time as required.
