Advisories Changes to NCA online exams

To help NCA candidates transition to online long response form examinations, the NCA will allocate an extra hour, or four (4) hours in total, for completion of each online exam. This extended time applies to all NCA candidates, but ONLY to NCA examinations written in July and August 2020.

Please note that any form of scanned document or photograph attachment will NOT be allowed. Talk to text software is also NOT allowed. Only responses entered in the online exam system using a keyboard will be considered.

Prior to the August exam date, you will be asked to select your preferred time to start the NCA exam you have registered for. These start times are available on a first come, first serve basis. A specific link will be sent to you in mid July for this reservation process.

NCA Change Fee

Please be advised that effective March 1, 2024 the fee for an assessment by the NCA (Assessment Fee) will be $400 CDN plus applicable taxes. The NCA operates on a cost recovery basis. It therefore adjusts its fees from time to time as required.
