Transactions and forms

Follow the instructions on this page to complete the transactions listed below through the NCA Portal. All costs listed are base costs in Canadian dollars. Taxes will apply.  Consult our refund policy.


Applying for assessment
Cost: $500.00 plus applicable taxes (effective March 1st, 2023)

Complete an NCA Assessment Application at any time and make sure you send all required documents, or arrange to have your institution send them.


Appealing assessment results
Cost: $280.00

  1. Select the “My Course Info” tab.
  2. Click on the heading “My Assessment”.
  3. Select the “Appeal” button at the top.


Registering for exams
Cost: $550.00 per exam, plus applicable taxes

  1. Select the “My Course Info” tab.
  2. Click on “Purchase Exams”.
  3. Select the name of the exam and the location where you wish to take it, and add it to the cart.
  4. Repeat for each exam you wish to write.
  5. Proceed to Check-out.
  6. Complete payment information and click “Submit”.


Appealing exam results/grades
Cost: $250.00 per exam

  1. Select the “My Course Info” tab.
  2. Click on the heading “Exam History”.
  3. Select the green “Appeal” button located beside the exam you wish to appeal.
  4. Provide the documents outlined on the Appeals page.


Asking for your NCA Certificate of Qualification
No cost

  1. Select “Manage Yourself”.
  2. Click on the heading “Request Certificate”.
  3. Complete the form and click “Submit”.
